in this cramped-ass room
every bitch i know
got a birthday
coming up

coworking
to crush each other
’s dreams

bodies wish to be held
& create spaces
to hold

if you seek to be a muse
learn to laugh
without feeling
like a plaything

imagine a cocktail gown
in flames
as the world continues

CEOs out for brunch
easy-climb trees
remnants of an old continent

i need some help
charting the bounds
of body-space

told the doctor today
i just have small tubes
held his gaze for a long time

Roxanne says there’s a space in west philly
i should use when i’m around
all i gotta do is ask
