I want to spend a week out in a field,
lose attunements
with the sophisticated world
saying
let fire sneak up my pant leg,
fire creates a rarity of lightningstrikes
in my heart and in the roof beams.
creative in history;
my cathedral was
struck on Viking land in 1092,
structure inherited lately as
a haven for wild sheep, tourists.
