To Light

Let the child hold the animal
And let the light fall betwixt the leaves
And let the child read by candlelight
And let candles remain in the mind
For we read and we read that is all
And what is read the child believes
And let the animal released take flight
Neither creature made bruised nor made blind
And let the light fall betwixt the leaves
And let the child read by candlelight
And let candles remain in the mind
For we read and we read that is all
And what is read the child believes
And let the animal released take flight
Neither creature made bruised nor made blind
