I’ll dive into a pool
Full of floating USBs
And diet drug syringes—
The phones are being charged
The party’s on its way.
I’ll text my local doctor
To help my thirst for knowledge
As mosquitoes weave their magic
And settle on my throat.
I want to cruise through
Active war zones
Like a tourist on the prowl,
Searching for the answers
Beyond suicidal scars.
I’ll revel in the sward
And the seasons of the dead
Then walk among the children
On the verge of paradise.
