Plains

In the plains of Colorado looking like Kansas
first seen in Nebraska,
where luckily the sky’s at eye height and
plain blue washed out too many times,
with clouds occasionally
tucked into their blueness,
into horizon in a haze
of great distance
and a fray out among them,
a chocked hurry spent
avoiding their own your naming of them,
I find silence on the radio
first seen in Nebraska,
where luckily the sky’s at eye height and
plain blue washed out too many times,
with clouds occasionally
tucked into their blueness,
into horizon in a haze
of great distance
and a fray out among them,
a chocked hurry spent
avoiding their own your naming of them,
I find silence on the radio
