Out of Paradise

Our first Parents were feral creatures
Abandoned to Paradise infant naked.
By their grunts and barks and moans they made themselves
Most unwelcome. They were shown the Gate. Long and terrible
Its Groan when it shut
upon them for good. They have not yet turned
To face the unread Road ahead.
