Those ants make the leaves look like Swiss cheese— for a moment. The line is long at Jimmy John’s and
we’ve been waiting forever. Soon it’ll be raining ketchup and mustard—only kiddin’, only pullin’ your leg.
If only, if only, mid summer, mid day, ain’t a cloud in the sky and before you know it, the forest is naked.
“We’re all out of Swiss cheese,”
Should’ve brought our lawn chairs.
Well, anywho, what now? Where should we go? What else is there in this neighborhood? So annoying. I
was really in a Swiss cheese mood.
